Taboo Restaurant is born from the passion and dreams of the epicurean Nicolas Petry.

After successful studies in a famous hostelry school in France and strong experiences such as: Beach Comber in Mauritius, London, Paris Trocadero, Costa Rica San Jose as a Food and Beverages manager, he decided to finally establish himself creating Taboo. He found the perfect location in Playa Langosta to drop his luggage with his family: his costarician wife, Lourdes as a manager and their little Ana-Lexia, already an experienced gourmet.

Taboo offer a mix of Californians flavours French “savoir faire” and local tico products. A creative cuisine with a menu on the black board changing daily according to the available products: “if there is lobster, it’s catch of the day”.

The French touch is also emerging in the vines extensive selection and mainly in personalized advices following your taste as well as the…..experience.
